It’s a holiday weekend here in the United States. I hope all of you are enjoying your time off. I know I am. This is the last three day holiday that the project team will have for the rest of the year. So, its time to enjoy.
My normal work schedule has been to come in and work on the weekend just to catch up. The deadline to get all of our content was moved up ten days early. The stress has begun. I noticed my colleagues are on edge. People are not talking to each other anymore and snapping at each other. They are even snapping at the administrative secretaries because there are no meeting rooms available. This is so sad that our work has gotten so stressful that we are treating people unkindly.
This is what was happening the past week because everyone knows August is over and September is here. There is only 90 more days until we go-live with the system. Are we ready? Are the end users ready?
