It’s 44 days until go-live. I see the tension in my colleagues faces. People are under stress and working late hours and even on the weekends. I know I am under a lot of stress since I just got back from a funeral. My priorities are getting my work finished in time for the build freeze at the end of the month.
Next week is usability testing. Usability testing are the end users testing the system out and making sure everything works like it is supposed to. The end users will be following the scripts that the project team created. The project team just had to make sure there were enough test patients in the testing environment to accommodate all of the nurses , social workers, care managers, respiratory therapists, dietitians, chaplains, and other ancillary staff that will come in.
