Northeastern University
Now offers the Master of Science in Health Informatics. The Master of Science in Health Informatics focuses on improving health care through interdisciplinary education in healthcare and technology. More information about this program is on their website.
UC Davis Extension Health Informatics Certificate Program
An online interdisciplinary program benefiting from the University of California, Davis’ rich expertise in medicine, nursing, public health, veterinary medicine and computer engineering. This 18-unit certificate program provides a meaningful option for working professionals who can’t commit to a full-time graduate program or need to get up to speed quickly. The University of Washington Clinical Informatics and Patient Centered Technologies (CIPCT) Online Master of Science program prepares nurses and other health professionals to provide leadership and expertise in the selection, implementation, management and evaluation of information technology used to support clinical practice. This program features enhanced distance learning technologies to support learners nation-wide. All required courses are on the web. In addition to online course requirements, CIPCT students will attend a 2-3 day session on the UW Seattle campus once per year. University of Victoria, Distance Master’s in Health Informatics
The School of Health Information Science at the University of Victoria (BC, Canada) offers an online Master’s degree in Health Informatics,
with courses in areas such as Patient Care Information Systems, Information Management and Technology, Clinical Decision Support Systems, and Epidemiology in Health Services Management. Our courses use a combination of synchronous and asynchronous teaching methods, and all are taught at a distance, with the exception of a two-week workshop on campus at the University of Victoria in May of each year. University of Colorado Denver College of Nursing -Master of Science in Health Care Informatics – Online Degree
The University of Colorado Denver, College of Nursing offers a 34 credit Master of Science program for nurses to practice as informatics specialists. We also offer a 16 credit Post-Master’s Certificate, a 16 credit Certificate in Health Care Informatics and a 9 credit Educator’s Certificate in Health Care Informatics.
